Who is responsible for your data

ELSE CODED is a private concierge and trip-coordination service for fishing and outdoor expeditions in Panama. The operating structure is currently being formed; at this stage, the data controller is the individual who runs this site and responds to the contact form. For any question about your personal data, you can reach us at access@elsecoded.com.

What data we collect

When you use the site's contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, your email address, your phone number if you include it, and the content of your message.

We do not collect any other personal data through this channel. No user account, no profile, and no payment data passes through the site.

Why we use this data

This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry, discuss your expedition project with you, and prepare a personalized coordination plan or quote if you wish. We do not use it for any other purpose.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, given when you submit the form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries received in the course of our concierge activity.

Who receives this data

Your data is received by Stéphane, who runs ELSE CODED. The technical delivery of the form is handled by Resend, an email delivery provider acting as a processor, under a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) covering this use. No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Transfers outside the European Union

Resend, our email delivery provider, is based in the United States. This transfer is governed by the contractual safeguards in Resend's DPA, in line with applicable requirements for international transfers of personal data.

Retention period

We retain contact data for 24 months from the last exchange, unless an ongoing engagement continues beyond that point, in which case the retention period applicable to that engagement applies instead.

Cookies and measurement tools

The site uses Vercel Analytics, a measurement tool that sets no cookies and generates no identifier capable of tracking you across sites. One functional cookie is used, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers your chosen language for browsing convenience; it does not require consent, in line with exemptions for strictly necessary cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, object to, and port your data. You can exercise these rights by writing to us at access@elsecoded.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence.

Security

The site applies standard technical security measures: encrypted connections, rate limiting on form submissions per IP address to prevent abuse, and strict validation of submitted data.
