Origins and trajectory

Born in the south of France, children of the coast. More than twenty years traveling the world, not to visit, but to live somewhere else. For a long time, differently.

That life shaped something. A way of being on the water, in the jungle, in a place we do not yet know. A demand that is not negotiable. ELSE CODED was born from that, not from a business idea, from a way of living that was looking for a form.

Crowds, silence and space

Groups, organized excursions, experiences calibrated to offend nobody, that has never been our world. Not out of snobbery. Because what we are looking for is not there. Preserving space and intimacy is not a sales argument. It is a starting condition.

Practice, terrain and immersion

Fishing and spearfishing have been part of our lives from the start, not as a hobby, as a way of operating. Along with everything that glides, swims or is practiced on and under the water.

The tropics are not a backdrop for us. They are familiar terrain since childhood, the jungle, the beach, the open sea.

We cross paths with sharks, mantas, dolphins, whales. Not an attraction, an encounter.

Even far from everything, we remain who we are. We cook for pleasure, we know the good tables around our routes.

Balance between comfort, bivouac and rhythm

Committed bivouac or a discreet house with sand at the doorstep, depending on the mood and the moment. Fishing, sailing, gliding and doing nothing remain central in both cases.

We know how to get to the right place at the right time. To choose the right boat, the right pace. Liveaboard catamaran, fast lancha, glassy flat water or isolated reef. House, hotel or wooden cabin: we know which ones to choose, and why. We know the art of traveling light and fluid.

Relationship, selection and mindset

Alone, as a couple or with friends, the experience is built with you. With seriousness, but without ever taking ourselves too seriously. Humor and a certain freedom of tone are part of the journey.

We prepare each experience as if it were our own. Because we do not know how to do it any other way.

Everything starts with a direct exchange, by phone or video call. We talk, we understand each other, we feel whether the pace and the intention are there. No intermediary. From there, we figure out together what is possible.

Every person involved on the ground, captains, guides, local teams, is selected according to a single criterion: that they reflect the level of rigor and reliability we expect for ourselves when we travel. They are often people we have known for a long time, who are exceptional at what they do.

This way of traveling does not suit everyone. It suits those who recognize themselves in it.
